i’m trying to bump up my freelance dev income so I can drop some accounting hours. things are moving, but I have no idea if my rates are actually normal for Australia. most of the pricing info I find is US stuff and it doesn’t really apply here. sydney seems more expensive than melbourne, and regional areas are different again
has anyone seen a decent dataset of australian freelance or contract dev rates? ideally split by tech stack, experience, and location. even a shared spreadsheet would help right now.
