Two details matter when working with the numbers: the date an inventory was retrieved is different from the year a traffic count was reported, and missing information should not be interpreted as zero.<\/p>\n<p>Disclosure: I used this source to build Rail Crossing Atlas with help from Codex: <a href=\"https:\/\/railcrossingatlas.tansolutions.org\/\">https:\/\/railcrossingatlas.tansolutions.org\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The map lets you look up a town or crossing ID and compare reported values, with dates and sources kept visible. The inventory currently shown was retrieved on October 4, 2026, but some individual traffic counts are older.
