A busy airport like ATL or JFK easily has 500-800+ departures\/day, so I need multiple calls with different time windows just to cover one airport for one day. It works but it&#8217;s expensive and slow at scale.<\/li>\n<li>Their &#8220;Airport Daily Routes&#8221; endpoint only returns a 7-day trailing average of flights per route \u2014 not the actual scheduled count for a specific day.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>BTS On-Time Performance data is great for historical domestic flights but it lags by several months so it&#8217;s useless for current\/future dates.<\/p>\n<p>All I really need is a single number per airport per day \u2014 total scheduled departures. I don&#8217;t need individual flight details, passenger manifests, or real-time status.
