I made two similar posts in other communities to get people\u2019s feedback and I wanted to share the results with folks here!<\/p>\n<p>Initially, the goal was to create datasets that would allow me to make geopolitical \u201cpredictions\u201d (it is a very hard problem obviously, so I\u2019ve been trying to find trends and patterns mostly). To that end, I\u2019ve created a dataset that contains 5 types of events:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cyberattacks<\/li>\n<li>Military Offensives<\/li>\n<li>Sanction announcements<\/li>\n<li>Military aid announcements<\/li>\n<li>International summits<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The dataset spans events since 2015 and contains more than 390K press articles that correspond to more than 120K unique events.<\/p>\n<p>The goal is to help individual developers\/small teams in their projects at a very low cost.
