With the official QuickFacts tool being down for a while, this has become even more apparent.<\/p>\n<p>So, our team and I built a couple of free tools to try and solve this. I wanted to share them with you all to get your feedback.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The tools are:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The County Explorer:<\/strong> A simple, at-a-glance dashboard for a snapshot of any US county. Good for a quick baseline.\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Link:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/counties.cambium.ai\/\"><strong>https:\/\/counties.cambium.ai\/<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cambium AI:<\/strong> The main tool. It&#8217;s a conversational AI that lets you ask detailed questions in plain English and get instant answers.\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Link:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/app.cambium.ai\/\"><strong>https:\/\/app.cambium.ai\/<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Examples of what you can ask the chat:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>&#8220;What is the median household income in Los Angeles County, CA?&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Compare the percentage of renters in Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Which county in Florida has the highest population over 65?&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Data Source:<\/strong> All the data comes directly from the American Community Survey (ACS) 5-year estimates and IPUMS.
