Hey everyone! I’m working on a university project where we’re trying to predict the direction of football penalty kicks based on the shooter’s body movement. To do that, we’re using pose estimation and machine learning on real-world footage.<\/p>\n
Right now, I’m building a dataset of penalty shootouts \u2014 but I specifically need videos where the camera is placed behind the player<\/strong>, like the rear broadcast angle you usually see in World Cup coverage.<\/p>\n I already have all the penalty shootouts from the 2022 World Cup<\/strong>, but I’d love to collect more of this kind \u2014 from other tournaments or even club games.
