I wanted to share a new search engine called CivicSearch. You can type in a keyword like \u201cpickleball\u201d or \u201caffordable housing\u201d and get a list of mentions in government meetings from 600+ US and Canadian cities: civicsearch.org<\/a><\/p>\n

For an example of what\u2019s possible with this data, we\u2019ve written (and are writing) a series of newsletters that explore specific topics in detail, like Black History Month<\/a>, school absenteeism<\/a>, and bus rapid transit<\/a>. You can subscribe to receive these updates by email, as well as personalized alerts for any location or keyword.<\/p>\n
