NO CREDIT? HERE’S HOW TO GET STARTED ON YOUR OWN!<\/p>\n
The following is an honest and easy to follow method that can be
\nused by any person who has NO credit and wants to “get
\nestablished.” The only cost to you will be the interest you are
\ncharged on your borrowing.<\/p>\n
One of the worst problems in life is having no credit. Everyone
\nwants you to produce your credit card etc. If you will follow the
\nmethod below, you WILL appear on the credit bureaus as a person
\nwith credit then stand back and wait for the credit offers to come
\nto YOU!<\/p>\n

The best credit reference is a record of borrowing money from a
\nBANK. Do not waste your time on small jewelry and department
\nstores as they are not looked on as good references in the real
\ncredit world. Everyone’s goal should be to obtain a Mastercard or
\nVisa and this is the way to do it:<\/p>\n
1. Put aside $500 of your hard earned money to get this program
\nunderway and watch it grow to real borrowing power! If you don’t
\nhave $500 right now, use any other amount and adjust the figures
\nbelow accordingly.<\/p>\n
2. Select a bank (Bank A) near where you live (banks like you
\nto have a reason for doing business with them) and open both a
\nchecking account and a savings account. You can open the checking
\nwith $100 in most banks, and put $400 in your savings.<\/p>\n
3. Wait one week then go back to bank A and ask for a personal
\nloan for $300 payable over one year using your savings account as
\ncollateral. They will give it to you right away as the loan is
\ntotally secured by savings. This will create a file on your
\ncredit bureau because the bank will list the loan there.4. Take the $300 loan, go to a bank wher you work (Bank B) and
\nopen just a savings account.<\/p>\n
5. Wait one week and go back to bank B and ask for a Visa or
\nMastercard secured by your $300 account. This will be done, and
\nwill appear on the bureau!<\/p>\n
6. Use your checking account to make your first loan payment
\nthe day you receive your first payment notice to Bank A (about
\n$30). Try to make this payment in person and take the opportunity
\nto let the person who made you the loan see you…say hello!<\/p>\n
7. Use your Visa Card right away to buy a hundred dollars worth
\nof necessities that you would NORMALLY buy with cash. <\/p>\n
8. Use your checking account to make your first Visa card
\npayment the day you get your bill. Pay twice what the bank asks
\nfor and again, make your payment in person!<\/p>\n
9. Wait two weeks and make a double payment (early) on your
\nloan and visa cards, again say hello to the bank officer!<\/p>\n
10. Be sure to use the checking account by adding your paycheck
\nor other funds to “build it up” a little.<\/p>\n
11. After you have made payments on both loans, apply for a
\nGasoline credit card, using those other items as references. <\/p>\n
12. Be sure you take care of all payments due on your accounts
\nON TIME and become a familiar face in the banks.<\/p>\n
13. DON’T PAY YOUR LOANS OFF! Let the accounts run, even if
\nthey are very low, for a year. Creditors want to see your long
\nterm credit history. This will be especially important in the
\nfuture.<\/p>\n
Before you know it, you will have the credit you need to buy cars,
\nfurniture, get loans, and see an increase in your credit card
\nlimits! Just please, do not abuse this new found freedom. Credit
\nis terrific if it is used properly!<\/p>\n
